Ryan was just a little upset here with his mom and grandma, but this is the only picture they took of him so I had to add it. We needed our whole family in this blog moment.

So here we are ready for the BYU game!!! This was part of our weekend. It started Friday night with Nichole's baby shower, and boy was it fun. Nichole got a lot of really nice gifts, and I just want to thank all my friends and family for coming. Little Ashden got a lot of cool stuff, and mommy Nichole was very HAPPY!!! Saturday morning I had to work, and it went quite well! We went to the game that night, and boy was I little disappointed not only with Max's performance, but with how immature the Utes fans are. 1st before we even got out of our vehicle we seen some Ute fans write all over some BYU fans vehicles nice obscene and vulgar words. 2nd they were trying to pick fights with everyone. 3rd they heckled old people that were in there 70's and 80's. 4th they used really foul language around young kids. 5th they were extremely immature by throwing stuff at BYU fans and calling names. If I never went back it would be too soon. I felt bad for taking Tyson because the Ute fans were not an example I would like him to see. That was our Saturday. Sunday we went to BODY WORLDS show with all of our kids and Jeri Lynn and Jesse. If you have not seen it, it is really worth going to see. All my kids liked it but Dereck. He thought it was kind of boring looking at dead people as he said. The rest of us however loved it. It was amazing how much time goes into that and being able to show my family a lot about the heart and human body. Then we went to Ikea and looked around. And that night we went to dinner with Garth & Janeen and Shane's cousin Larry and his daughter Julie that was here from Georgia, Jessie and Jeri lynn and Shane & I. It was kind of scary having that many mature Bott men at the same table. It was fun to see them we have not seen them for about 13 years. They had come into town because Shane's cousin Gary was killed in an auto pedestrian accident last Thursday. It was a fun filled weekend. The fun part was that Shane had planned most of it himself. He is going out of his way to be a great husband and father and I love him more and more for all his effort.
Now here are the boys. It had rained and snowed and sleeted and they were out on their four wheelers. They have mud all over their faces, clothes, and wheelers.
This is Shane and the guys with the first elk Shane shot. It was a nice little spike, at least the meat will be tender.
Here is the 2 of us with his elk.
Here is Janeen, Rachel, and Natasha. These 2 girls were inseparable they did everything together.
Shane was very loving. I think he was apologizing for getting my Orange jacket covered with mud.
This is the Nowaks. Jeff, Janeen, and Rachel. They were wonderful people that now we are blessed to have as lifelong friends.
Oops I guess I put this in twice. That's OK because they had a blast and Tyson and his dad couldn't quit talking about their wild ride.
Shane took my Dad hunting back in 1999, and they had a blast. This is where my dad signed his name in a tree. As you all are probably aware he did this a lot when we were kids, and our family's name is all over Strawberry and Sheep Creek.
This evening Janeen and I went out with our men hunting. It was fun, and where they took us was exceptionally beautiful. We were on top of the world.
This is the inside of the Nowaks cabin. Me and Shane were enjoying some cuddle time. However he was complaining I had a bony ass in this picture.
I think I was threatening Nichole to stop taking pictures. We had a lot of laughs and good times this weekend. It is too bad Vacations always have to come to an end.
Shane wasn't sure I was warm enough so he was helping me dress. What a good hubby.
Right down the road from our cabins is the overlook to Flaming Gorge. We decided to get a family photo there.
When the guys were out hunting I took the kids to Stringham Cabin and also for 4 wheeler rides. they loved it. We seen a lot of deer on our ride, but no elk.
This is at Stringham cabin. They used to make the kids sleep out in this wagon and the little cabin behind it.
This is on the dock overlooking the lake by our cabins. This is what i call brotherly, sisterly love.
It is very scenic and pretty where we went. It was peaceful, calm, and beautiful.
Two of my favorite girls. All in All it was a great week. It was fun to have all of my family there. We needed a vacation as a family and this one was great. We all had a great time, and it felt like our life was right back on track. Next Elk hunt we will have Ashden. It is hard to believe we will be grandparents. I love my family, and there really aren't words to describe how much this week meant to me. I love Shane and I am so happy we had this week together, with our kids, and with our new friends. Thanks to Shane's work too. Shane did a great PR job. Shane and Jeff enjoy working together so I think Jeff is going to make sure there are more jobs for Brahma. I wasn't sure why they would allow Shane to do PR but after meeting Jeff. I now know Shane was the perfect PR person for this guy. They are like two pees in a pod. Their attitude, love for hunting, impatience, sarcasm, and humor are identical. It was a great trip, and we will all cherish the memories.
