What Shane Means

You are the total package - suave, sexy, smart, and strong.

You have the whole world under your spell, and you can influence almost everyone you know.

You are truly an original person. You have amazing ideas, and the power to carry them out.

Success comes rather easily for you... especially in business and academia.

Some people find you to be selfish and a bit overbearing. You're a strong person.

GO BYU!!!!!!!!

BYU vs U of U, and once again BYU came out on top. Melanie has no taste what so ever. We try every year to get her rooting for the right team and it just hasn't worked. This was a fun day Janet, Cindy, and I (Cindy and Howard doing most the work) had our pod covered in Blue. Melanie tried with care packages of red, but we out did her and helped our team to the win.
This was a little bit after our win, but we just thought we would rub it in a little more!!!
Look Melanie even dressed in Blue that day. Maybe we are rubbing off on her after all!!!!!!

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve, since my Dad passed away, I have had my family over for a Christmas Party. It always ends or starts out at the cemetery to light luminaries for my Dad, and then we go by Spanish Fork and light one for my daughter Garamie.
This year Shane and Ryan sat there and said that my Dad was up in heaven laughing at all of us saying "You dumb suckers, look what she's got you doing now. Why aren't you at home keeping warm, instead of out in the worst snow storm of the year?" He was getting quite a kick out of us forging our way in the snow. Even Gramps got a chuckle and said "He probably thinks we're a bunch of dumb asses!" Anyways I am thankful to my family for supporting me in this ritual. It is my way of being with my Dad on the holidays. As you can see all the white stuff, that was a lot of snow coming down.

Here is my favorite younger niece Vanessa and Natasha opening gifts. We do our gift exchange on Christmas Eve.
Here is my son Ryan, David Hunter, Ryan, and Gramps. Hunter get your finger out of your nose.
Nichole and Ryan teasing Grandma and Lewis.
This is Lewis and my mom. They are BYU junkies. So of course they received more BYU apparel.
My Sister In Law Kelly and my wonderful Gramps. I loved being with my family and having them create traditions. I loved having my Gramps there because it meant I had a part of my Dad there. After we ate and exchanged gifts we went to the movie and seen National Treasure II. It was pretty good. I had a great holiday, I enjoy the memories, and I love my family.

Natasha's Christmas Dance Recital

This is part of the dance "Sleigh Ride." It was fun to watch her perform and for being as sick as she was she did absolutely great.
Ok, so Natasha had a dance recital up in SLC at the festival of trees. These were cute lil 4 year olds dancing to "I wanna hippopotamus for Christmas." They were pretty cute.
Now here is Natasha getting ready for her Company kids dance. She has a fever and is doped up on Medicine, but really wanted to come. She missed her dance rehearsal that morning, but still wanted to go to the festival of trees and perform. What a trooper!!! Her big sis Nichole helped her get ready.
This is her Hip-Hop routine. She did her best, but you could tell she didn't feel well.
Here she is dancing to the song "Sleigh Ride". They did pretty good and it was fun to watch. The other kids had already looked at the trees and didn't think it was all that. Natasha was really to sick to do much looking. I remember going as a child and thinking how neat it was.

So I Had this party on December 15th at midnight it was my cousin in laws Ruthann's Birthday so we celebrated it as well. This is my brother Ryan, his wife Kelly, Me and Shane, and Ruthann and Johnny.
This is me and My Souls Taurus Sister Shanon, friend Kenny, and Mijo And Angela. We always have a wonderful time eating, drinking, and being merry. We play some fun games, tell old stories, and catch up on new ones.
We always have a good card game going. This year we had it in the garage. It makes my house feel more spacious. This is Garth, Shanon,
This was a fun picture, but I wasn't present for the why, who won, or what is going on and why is Jeri Lynn taking on Kenny?
This is my beautiful daughter Nichole, My sweet Sis in Law Kelly and one of her friends. It was a fun night. To all of you that couldn't make it you were missed, hope to see you next year.

St. Jude Meeting AKA Girl's Getaway

Ok, so these pictures are not quite coming out the way I want them to here, but here goes my story. This is Melanie in our Limo at the end of our trip. We just got done with our training and we are heading to the airport.
This picture has very special meaning to Melanie and me. It starts with a story I heard on the radio a couple months back about a Kiss Concert being canceled because Paul Stanley's heart was beating 200 beats per minute. Well anyways I was excited and told Dr. Hwang about it and told him to try to get him to come to Utah. Anyways I can not say to much more because that would be a HIPPA violation and I would not want to break HIPPA.
This is the three of us on the Hollywood Walk of fame!!!Do you like the caption on the sign? That would not be a sign for us since between the 3 of us we have 11 kids!!!LOL!!!
This is the 3 amigos. We had an awesome time. I could not have had more fun, our 2/12 days there we fit in everything we could.
So this is our little cooler the girls made to get there beer cold. We had just returned from our night out. We had ate just ate at the best restaurant Asia de Cuba. It was quite pricey and just all around excellent food. We ordered like 6 appetizers, 8 main courses, wonderful drinks and a really good dessert. St. Jude sure does know how to entertain.
This is the sign that was in the entrance of the St. Jude Plant when we got there. It was in the entrance when we arrived and up all day.
This is me,Bryan, & Shanon after the conference on our way to the airport. We made full use of the stocked Limo.

This is our hotel room. When we got there the first day they had this wonderful tray of cheeses, breads, crackers, and dried grapes, and of course Evian water.
This is us our first night on the Santa Monica Pier. We all paid to have this little man write our daughters names in this cool writing that included dolphins, whales, palm trees, etc. It took him about 20 minutes to do five and he made about $45. Maybe I am in the wrong career. We also ate at Bubba Gumps restaurant. I have never ate there, but believe me if I had the chance I would eat there again. It has a really fun atmosphere and excellent food.
This is us at Venice Beach on the second day. We were dying to feel the sand between our toes. If you have never been to either place they are both really fun to go to. There was a Crazy man that ran around singing "Jingle Bell Jingle Bell help me get drunk." He was quite entertaining, along with the body builders in Speedos and all the other crazies.
Now this is Guy. He is a rep from Medtronic that happened to be on the same flight as us on the way to California. He treated us to this wonderful meal. This is a nice little restaurant on the beach. please do not tell St. Jude we were hanging out with the Medtronic people on their dime. Guy is awesome. He had a rent a car the first night and took us to the Pier. The next day he met us after he did a bunch of cases. He is awesome!!!
This is us the second night with our Limo driver. He took us to many sights and put up with our craziness. Not everyone could do that!! We had a blast. We did learn alot while we were in classes. We just happened to make a lot of the time we had there. It was great. I loved my whole time there. I am glad I went with girlfriends that I love being with. Thanks St. Jude!!!

Twilight Series

So I don't know how many of you have read these books, but boy are they addictive. All the ladies I work with have been reading them, so of course I had to. Little did I know that that would be all that I did for 9 days straight was read one right after the other. I had borrowed the first one, and finished it on a Friday night. I didn't know that by Sunday morning I would need my next dose of Edward. Thank heavens Barnes and Nobles is open on Sunday. I ended up going and getting the next and having them both finished by the following Saturday. These books are all over 600 pages. They are not the usual trashy romance novels I read. The really don't have any trash in them , just alot of other stuff. My friend Melanie that I work with hates reading, but she just finished all three as well, and we are waiting very impatiently for the 4th book to come out. She is a little more addicted then I was. She can remember the car he drove, and was so impressed that her sister bought one. She thinks she gets to drive in Edwards car.LOL!!! My son Ryan is now reading them , and he can't believe how easy they are to read. Stephanie Meyers is LDS and she keeps the books PG. If you want a good read you should read her books they are excellent.

My Graduation Party

So I had a Party to Celebrate my graduation. My Mom and her husband Lewis threw the party for me. They thought I deserved a night to celebrate and remember. I am very glad they insisted on throwing this for me. It meant a lot to me. Alot of my wonderful friends and family were there to help me celebrate. It was because of all of them, and the many that couldn't come that I got my degree. I couldn't have done it without them. Family and Friends is what life is about, and I was blessed to have the best.
