St. Jude Meeting AKA Girl's Getaway

Ok, so these pictures are not quite coming out the way I want them to here, but here goes my story. This is Melanie in our Limo at the end of our trip. We just got done with our training and we are heading to the airport.
This picture has very special meaning to Melanie and me. It starts with a story I heard on the radio a couple months back about a Kiss Concert being canceled because Paul Stanley's heart was beating 200 beats per minute. Well anyways I was excited and told Dr. Hwang about it and told him to try to get him to come to Utah. Anyways I can not say to much more because that would be a HIPPA violation and I would not want to break HIPPA.
This is the three of us on the Hollywood Walk of fame!!!Do you like the caption on the sign? That would not be a sign for us since between the 3 of us we have 11 kids!!!LOL!!!
This is the 3 amigos. We had an awesome time. I could not have had more fun, our 2/12 days there we fit in everything we could.
So this is our little cooler the girls made to get there beer cold. We had just returned from our night out. We had ate just ate at the best restaurant Asia de Cuba. It was quite pricey and just all around excellent food. We ordered like 6 appetizers, 8 main courses, wonderful drinks and a really good dessert. St. Jude sure does know how to entertain.
This is the sign that was in the entrance of the St. Jude Plant when we got there. It was in the entrance when we arrived and up all day.
This is me,Bryan, & Shanon after the conference on our way to the airport. We made full use of the stocked Limo.

This is our hotel room. When we got there the first day they had this wonderful tray of cheeses, breads, crackers, and dried grapes, and of course Evian water.
This is us our first night on the Santa Monica Pier. We all paid to have this little man write our daughters names in this cool writing that included dolphins, whales, palm trees, etc. It took him about 20 minutes to do five and he made about $45. Maybe I am in the wrong career. We also ate at Bubba Gumps restaurant. I have never ate there, but believe me if I had the chance I would eat there again. It has a really fun atmosphere and excellent food.
This is us at Venice Beach on the second day. We were dying to feel the sand between our toes. If you have never been to either place they are both really fun to go to. There was a Crazy man that ran around singing "Jingle Bell Jingle Bell help me get drunk." He was quite entertaining, along with the body builders in Speedos and all the other crazies.
Now this is Guy. He is a rep from Medtronic that happened to be on the same flight as us on the way to California. He treated us to this wonderful meal. This is a nice little restaurant on the beach. please do not tell St. Jude we were hanging out with the Medtronic people on their dime. Guy is awesome. He had a rent a car the first night and took us to the Pier. The next day he met us after he did a bunch of cases. He is awesome!!!
This is us the second night with our Limo driver. He took us to many sights and put up with our craziness. Not everyone could do that!! We had a blast. We did learn alot while we were in classes. We just happened to make a lot of the time we had there. It was great. I loved my whole time there. I am glad I went with girlfriends that I love being with. Thanks St. Jude!!!

I've been waiting and waiting for you to post about your trip! It looks like you had tons of fun! I'm sure you really did learn a lot but I have to thank you for not posting pics of all the boring meetings and just keeping it to the fun ones! If you ever need to bring a friend to one of those trips, I'm there for ya! As for Bubba Gumps, you'll have to either go to Colorado or California. It's to bad there isn't one closer huh?
